Unfulfilled desire curdles into frustration, then into rage, then into ash. On the edge of sanity, he confronts the silence and discovers how thin the line is between surrender and self-destruction. Fire runs through this film not just as destruction, but as transformation. What burns does not always disappear; sometimes it reveals what can no longer be carried.
